

A delegation from the International Federation of Football Associations visited the Kingdom last Sunday as part of an inspection trip to prepare for the 2023 Club World Cup in the Kingdom and assess the stadiums designated to host the tournament, which is scheduled to take place from 12 to 22 December.
The first visit, which lasted three days, included inspection tours of the King Fahd International Stadium, Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium and King Saud University Stadium, as well as visits to training facilities in Riyadh, as this visit is part of a series of field trips to view sports facilities and tournament facilities.
For his part, Ibrahim Al Qasem, Secretary General of the Saudi Football Association, confirmed that the Kingdom’s organization of the Club World Cup for the first time reflects the great development witnessed by the sports sector in general and football in particular, in addition to the generous support of the wise leadership – yes support his God – and the interest and follow-up of the Ministry of Sports.
