Hisham El Hassani, Regional Director of the National Food Safety Authority for Health in the Tangier-Tetouan-El Hoceima Region, said the sheep and goat numbering process prepared for Eid 1444 (2023) will begin on March 20. .
The correspondent on this occasion, addressed to the head of the Agricultural Chamber of the same region, explained that this process will be launched in all regions of the region free of charge in the interests of all producers and fatteners as part of the procedures related to the number of sheep and goats intended for fattening for the Eid sacrifice.
The same correspondent added that the numbering process will be carried out by the National Association of Sheep and Goat Breeders under the supervision and control of the regional veterinary services.
Notably, this process aims to allow the citizen to obtain a numbered victim that can be traced if needed.
