Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani is preparing to make a record bid for Manchester United on Wednesday.
And British network Sky Sports reported that Jasim bin Hamad’s bid would be a record.
Sky did not specify the exact amount, but said it would be the largest in the world of sports.
And Sky explained that the record for the largest purchase of a sports facility in history was registered in the name of the Denver Broncos football club last summer for 3.75 million pounds.
Sky explained that the Glazer family, which owns Manchester United, wants £6bn in exchange for selling the club to the Red Devils.
And Sky has revealed that bin Hamad’s offer ranges from £4 million to £6 million and that he is 100% upfront with it tonight.
Sky said eight bids were pending to buy the club.
