Today, Sunday, gold prices in the Kingdom showed price stability compared to prices over the last period.
The price of a gram of 21 carat gold reached 209.83 rials, $55.95, and 18 carat gold – 179.85 rials, $47.96.
A gram of 24 carat gold cost 239.80 rials, $63.95, and a gram of 22 carat gold cost 219.82 rials, $58.62.
World gold prices
Global gold prices rose more than 2%, coinciding with the wave of the banking crisis that shook global markets and caused the biggest weekly increase in gold prices in four months, while rates on the less aggressive US Federal Reserve in its fight against inflation were exacerbated.
Spot gold rose 2% to $1957.19 an ounce by 12:34 pm ET (1634 GMT) after rising 2.4% to $1964.73 earlier, the highest level since April 2022. US gold futures rose 2% to 1962 dollars.
