Today, Saturday, the press reported that Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani intends to raise his stake to guarantee the purchase of Manchester United from the American Glazer family.
And English network Sky Sports confirmed in a report that Sheikh Jassim intends to consult with his advisers to improve his bid for United.
The report added that the Qatari Sheikh was willing to pay an amount in excess of United’s value due to the club’s history and the fact that he was rarely offered on the market, and the report claimed that a new offer could reach £6bn.
Previous reports have shown Jaseem bin Hamad’s £5bn bid as a delegation that included many of the Qatari sheikh visited United two days ago and met with officials as part of the sale process.
