Today, Thursday, Swiss Gianni Infantino was re-elected FIFA President until 2027 by acclamation.
Infantino was elected, with no candidates against him, at the federation’s general assembly in Kigali on Thursday.
The 52-year-old lawyer will lead football’s global governing body for a third four-year term after taking office in 2016, succeeding compatriot Steve Blatter.
